It’s here! 🤍🏡 Our FIRST rough draft of our newest model one we’re hoping to start building in 2027!
This home has already been weeks and weeks in the making. Pasting, plugging, talking, drawing, viewing, marking things up, changing them…and then changing them again. 😂 And we finally have our first blueprint draft!
Now comes one of my favorite parts: giving her a name.
If you know me, you know our model names are never just random. They usually mean something. Something about the year, the style of the home, the story behind it, or what was happening while we were designing it.
While I was finishing the design, I received the news that Dolly Parton had passed, and somewhere along the way I just started calling this house “my Dolly.” 🤍 It stuck with me, and I kind of love the sweetness behind it.
But the whole vision for this home has also been a brand-new home with an old soul, which is why I keep coming back to Old Town.
And then there’s The All-American Cottage 🇺🇸 — a name we’ve played around with because this home will begin during America’s 250th anniversary year.
So now I need your help!
