Changing out a light fixture changes more about a room than just how it's lit. While these changes can be a beautiful and quick way to freshen up a space; it may not be just a simple DIY.

What you don't always see on a before and after photo is the updating and correcting of unsafe and outdated electrical wiring. In older homes especially, it's important to have a professional handle even seemingly simple projects like these to avoid serious issue.

Porch Restoration:
