🌟 Meet Our Intern: Artemio! 🌟

Wrapping up our summer intern spotlight series, we're excited to introduce Artemio!

Artemio is currently studying at the University of Puerto Rico – Mayagüez Campus and is spending the summer with our team, gaining valuable hands-on experience while continuing to build his surveying knowledge.

📍 Favorite Thing About Surveying?
"My favorite thing about surveying is the mix of fieldwork, technology, and problem-solving. Every project is different, and I enjoy seeing how field measurements become useful plans and maps."

📚 What is he hoping to learn this summer?
"This summer, I hope to better understand the complete surveying process, improve my boundary and legal surveying knowledge, and become more confident working independently in both the field and the office."

👨‍🍳🔧 Fun Fact: Artemio is an excellent cook and enjoys working on cars in his free time!

We're grateful to have Artemio on our team this summer and look forward to seeing him continue to grow as he gains experience in every aspect of the surveying profession.

🌟 Meet Our Intern: Jose! 🌟

Next up in our summer intern spotlight series is Jose!

Currently pursuing his degree at the University of Puerto Rico – Mayagüez Campus, Jose is spending the summer working alongside our team and getting firsthand experience with the diverse work involved in land surveying.

📍 Favorite Thing About Surveying?
"My favorite thing about surveying is its versatility. I enjoy seeing a project from different perspectives, from aerial imagery to fieldwork and office processing. It helps me understand the full picture, and it also gives me the opportunity to explore new places."

📚 What is he hoping to learn this summer?
"This summer, I hope to learn as much as possible. I want to better understand how different surveying projects are approached and executed, even when they may seem similar on the surface. I'm also looking forward to developing my drafting and office skills so I can continue growing as a surveyor."

✈️ Fun Fact: Jose went skydiving before he ever traveled outside of Puerto Rico!

We're glad to have Jose as part of our team this summer and look forward to seeing him continue to grow both in the field and in the office.

We're excited to introduce Carol, one of our summer interns at On The Mark Land Surveying!

Carol is currently studying at the University of Puerto Rico – Mayagüez Campus and has joined us for the summer to gain hands-on experience in the land surveying profession.

📚 What is she hoping to learn this summer?
"I want to learn as much as possible. In this career, you see something different every day. I want to get better at the legal side of surveying, work more independently, and gain confidence in my own work."

🌎 Fun Fact: Carol has dual citizenship!

We're looking forward to helping Carol grow her skills and seeing all she accomplishes this summer. Be sure to give her a warm welcome!

Rounding out National Surveyors Week by celebrating the team that makes it all happen 👏

Our full-time crew at OTM puts in the work day in and day out. These are the people getting it done every single day—long hours, attention to detail, and pride in their work. It doesn’t go unnoticed.

We’re lucky to have this crew, and we wouldn’t be where we are without them. 💪

What are the two most common phone calls we get?

👉 ‘Can you just come mark my corners?’
👉 ‘I only need one line marked.’

This is why we stress in every conversation: the minimum survey we perform is a full boundary survey. We’re not cutting corners—because that creates liability for both you and us.
