First, I hope you and your family are safe. Once the dust settles, the next worry is your roof — and that’s where I come in.

🌪️ TORNADO INCOMING — Read This Now

If you’re hearing sirens or the sky is looking wrong, here’s what matters most right now:

GET INSIDE & GET LOW
Go to the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Interior rooms with no windows are best — a bathroom, closet, or hallway in the middle of the house. Get under something solid if you can, and cover your head and neck.

NOT SAFE:
❌ Mobile homes — leave immediately for a solid structure
❌ Cars — do not try to outrun a tornado
❌ Near windows — stay away from them entirely

AFTER IT PASSES — Look For These Warning Signs of Damage:
🔴 Gas smell or hissing — get out and call 911, don’t use any switches
🔴 Sagging ceilings or cracked walls — structural damage, exit carefully
🔴 Standing water inside — could mean a broken pipe or roof breach
🔴 Exposed wires or sparking — stay back and kill power at the breaker if safe
🔴 Roof debris in yard or gutters pulled away — your roof may be compromised even if it looks okay from the ground

Don’t go back inside a damaged structure until it’s been cleared.

Stay put, stay low, and check on your neighbors when it’s safe. 🙏
