Tile is coming off and this home is getting a completely different look.

Of all the things that can cause problems on a Florida roof… iguanas probably aren’t the first thing that comes to mind. 🦎

On this roof, Richie Colletti lifted a tile and found iguana waste collecting underneath it. The concern isn’t just the mess—deterioration around vulnerable areas can eventually contribute to water getting where it shouldn’t and damage to the fascia below.

Just another example of why what’s happening under the tile can matter as much as what you can see from the ground.
