Eight years ago, in 2018, I was sitting on the couch with a newborn baby and a big decision on my mind.

For years, I had wanted to take the leap and pursue owning my own insurance agency, but like many big dreams, it took time to find the courage to actually do it. That moment was the turning point.

Today, I’m incredibly proud to be part of GreatFlorida Insurance, which has been ranked #23 on the 2026 Entrepreneur Franchise 500.

I’m especially grateful to be part of a franchise family that truly supports and cares about its agents. Having that kind of backing makes all the difference, not just in business, but in the confidence to keep growing.

What started as a leap of faith has grown into something truly meaningful. This milestone isn’t just about a ranking, it’s about the relationships we’ve built, the clients we serve, and the community we’re grateful to be part of every day.

To all our insureds, family, and friends, now is the time to finish your storm preparations. One of the things that many often forget is to take a quick video or pictures with your cell phone of your home and your belongings. Should you have to file a claim, it helps account for all your items and the condition they were in prior to the loss. Filing a claim is never easy, but being prepared beforehand can go a long way. If you do sustain damage during the storm, please let us know as GreatFlorida has a Preferred Network of Contractors that have been extensively pre-vetted exclusively for our clients.

Office hours: for the safety of our staff, our office will be closed Wednesday and Thursday. Once the storm passes, we will re-evaluate if we can return in-office. During this time, weather permitting, we will monitor calls as they come in.
