There are many times, we get those calls where another leak detection company was hired; determined a leak, and yet when the company left, the pool is still actively leaking. They use this tactic to force your hand to make a quick decision in their estimated repairs.
The truth is any leak can be stopped at minimum temporarily.

In this case the homeowner hired "our competitors", they determined the main drain line was broken behind the light and under the raised planter. Their estimate stated they had to cut and jackhammer out the deck, tunnel under the planter in order to repair. As well as tedious other repairs they made sound significant. The line was never isolated so the homeowners pool continued to drain almost completely, with in one day!
Pool Solutions was hired for a second PROFESSIONAL opinion. We determined the main drain line was in fact broken, but can be accessed through the planter itself; allowing less damage to the pool deck to have to be repaired later.
While we had it excavated we identified the safety line was also broken, and repaired it at no additional cost. We are no professional landscapers by day, but by heart we like to keep our customers happy and even replanted the beautiful plants per request.
Note: The palm tree was disposed of properly due to it was the "deep rooted" cause of applying pressure to the pipe, causing them to break.
