Every building has a story, and sometimes, that story changes completely.

For this 12,000-square-foot Tenant Improvement in Punta Gorda, we helped transform a space formerly occupied by Muscle Car City into a new Goodwill retail location serving the local community.

Working within an existing structure, our team focused on adapting the space to meet Goodwill’s operational needs while creating a welcoming and functional environment for its customers and community.

It’s a great example of how thoughtful design can give an existing space a new purpose and a new chapter.

We were honored to attend the ribbon cutting for the Goodwill Retail & Donation Center Tenant Improvement project and celebrate another space designed to serve the Southwest Florida community.

A special thank you to John Nadeau and Doug Stewart for their continued trust, loyalty, and partnership. We also extend our appreciation to Steven Bowen Construction, MP Structures, and Burgess Brant for their collaboration in bringing this project to life.

Congratulations to Goodwill Southwest Florida on this exciting milestone, we’re proud to have been part of it!

The Seascape Condominium on Bonita Beach, Florida, sustained extensive damage from Hurricane Ian in 2022 after experiencing more than 14 feet of storm surge. Following four years of restoration planning, design, and construction, the residence has been fully restored, allowing homeowners to once again enjoy 100% of Seascape.

Lee Health Medical Center at Metro Parkway 🏥

Healthcare design goes beyond creating a building, it means creating spaces that promote healing, comfort, and accessibility for the communities they serve.

GMA Architects & Planners is proud to have partnered with Summit Management Group on the design of the 41,432-square-foot Lee Health Medical Center at Metro Parkway, providing Class A medical office space for multiple Lee Health specialty practices, including Convenient Care, Cardiology, Infectious Disease, and Pulmonology.

Designed with patient comfort, privacy, and operational efficiency in mind, the facility offers convenient access for patients throughout Lee County while creating a warm and welcoming healthcare environment.

One of the very first projects we shared on this page was the future Goodwill location in Lehigh Acres. Today, we’re excited to share just how far it’s come.

Happy National Root Beer Day! 🥤

Today we’re raising a glass (or mug) of root beer to projects that stand the test of time.

Legacy Dental Studio was designed to provide a calming, residential-scale experience while supporting the latest advancements in dental care. Warm materials, comfortable furnishings, and efficient planning helped create an environment where patients feel at ease and staff can provide exceptional care.

This award-winning project remains one of our favorite examples of how thoughtful design can positively impact both patients and healthcare professionals.
