HOMEOWNERS- this is what many roofers don’t want you to know:
They weeble and they wobble and the pressure falls down.
Another (I) storm is on the horizon. While it’s forecasted for the panhandle Gulf region, we’ve seen that storms are going to do what they’re going to do.
-In the case of any wind event, DO NOT allow someone to nail a tarp into your roofing system. Those nail holes can never really be patched and your roof will be destroyed.
-Shingles and tiles are essentially decorative coverings for your underlayment. (Your roof’s waterproof barrier.)
-Just because you may see missing shingles/tiles DOES NOT mean that your roof will leak or that you need a tarp.
-Thousands of SWFL residents totaled their roofs by asking roofers or FEMA to tarp their roofs.
-Your ceiling will tell the tale. Keep an eye on every ceiling in your home. Even the tiniest brown spot can mean that your underlayment has been compromised.
-If you DO actually have a leak, ask for a tarp with sand bags only!
-After Hurricane Ian, residents hired out of town or new roofing companies who knocked on their doors or could get to them right away.
Unless you ACTUALLY have leaking, please wait for any true established and local roofer.
-We would rather be hired honestly for a small repair now, and be trusted with a roof replacement later.
-When you call our office, a human being answers the phone.
-We do not employ ANY sales staff. NONE. Our estimators are paid a fair livable wage and provide honest recommendations for your roof. They get paid exactly the same no matter the outcome. How can you trust someone whose commission depends on a big sale?
From the company who has been here with you for almost 40 years.
