🏗️ Investing in the future of construction.

Paul Hemmer Company is proud to support the Spirit of Construction Foundation and its work to strengthen the next generation of our industry.

This year, the Foundation reached a new milestone, awarding $129,800 in scholarships to 58 students, the largest scholarship investment and number of recipients in its history. Since 2004, more than $808,000 has been awarded to 340 individuals pursuing careers in construction, engineering, architecture, design and the skilled trades.

Congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients and to the Spirit of Construction Foundation for continuing to create opportunities, develop our future workforce and advance the construction industry.

🍂 A great fall tradition with even better company.

Last week, we welcomed clients, partners, friends and team members to the annual Paul Hemmer Company Fall Festival at Sand Run Nursery & Preserve.

The weather cooperated, the setting was hard to beat, and most importantly, it was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and spend time with the people who have helped make Hemmer what it is today.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s Fall Festival another memorable one. We’re already looking forward to next year! 🍁

🏗️ Ever wonder what’s happening on a construction site from week to week?

At Molto Canal Pointe C, last week brought progress above ground, below ground and everywhere in between.

Crews advanced the remaining precast wall installation, with patching, grouting and sealant work following close behind. On the foundation side, 30 column pad footings were placed across two pours.

And when wet clay soils made sitework difficult? Lime stabilization got underway to improve soil conditions and keep the project moving.

It’s all part of the work that happens behind the scenes as a building takes shape. 👷‍♂️🏗️

🔨 Renovation is about more than updating a space. It’s about respecting what’s already there.

At Guardian Angels Church in Cincinnati, our team completed a renovation of the chapel that modernized the space while preserving its architectural character and spiritual significance. Work included new flooring, HVAC and electrical upgrades, lighting improvements, detailed finish work, and careful protection of existing stained glass, limestone, pews, and other architectural features.

Projects like this demonstrate the coordination, craftsmanship, and attention to detail required when renovating occupied and architecturally significant spaces.

👏 Congratulations to the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce team on another outstanding Annual Dinner!

Our team enjoyed joining the Northern Kentucky business community last night for an evening celebrating the people, organizations and accomplishments that continue to move our region forward.

🏗️ Project Update | General James Taylor Park

Progress continues along the Newport riverfront at the General James Taylor Park project.

This past week, crews advanced work on the plaza stairs, feature area, stadium seating and levee sidewalk.

With the Cincinnati skyline and Ohio River as the backdrop, the park is beginning to take shape. We’re proud to be part of a project that will create a new community destination along Newport’s riverfront.

In honor of the start of football season, we’re kicking things off with a shoutout to one of the biggest Bengals fans on the Hemmer team, Penny Knollman! Who Dey! 🧡🖤

Penny has been part of Paul Hemmer Company for more than 18 years, providing critical project coordination, administrative and logistical support across our construction operations. Her attention to detail, responsiveness and commitment to client service make her a trusted resource for our project managers, subcontractors and customers alike.

Over the years, Penny has supported major projects including OneNKY Center, Freestore Foodbank, Core5 Bourbon VII and LogistiCenter @ Airport West.

When she isn’t helping keep projects moving, there’s a pretty good chance she’s cheering on the orange and black.

Paul Hemmer Company is proud to partner with United Dairy Farmers on its new store and fueling station in Florence, Kentucky.

The project includes a 6,575-square-foot retail store, 5,800-square-foot fuel canopy, new parking, utilities, landscaping and stormwater infrastructure, all designed to support UDF’s full convenience retail operation.

For more than a century, Hemmer has been part of the Greater Cincinnati community, so it is especially rewarding to help another longstanding local brand continue to grow right here in Northern Kentucky.
