Meet Dale.

We sat down with Dale to learn a little more about him.

How did you come to RDC?
"I was drafted into RDC when they bought out the pool company I was working for. I ended up being the only one from that company to hang around all these years."

Is there a project you're especially proud of?
"Butler Park was my best project. It was some of the biggest plumbing pipe work I had ever done, and each of the different bodies of water had its own unique piping style. The pump room was also the largest I've ever built. And the tower slide was quite the accomplishment: not only did I have to plumb the three slides, I had to engineer the way the piping was supported on the structure!"

What's something about your role people might not expect?
"I believe no one knows exactly what it is I do."

Every curve here was sculpted and formed into a precast concrete mold. Each bench was set in place beside the water and the landscape, so they look like part of the garden and not something added to it.

Precast let us:
- Hold complex, flowing shapes with a clean, consistent finish
- Build the pieces off-site and install them with precision
- Stand up to sun, rain and salt air

Details like these are what turn a project into a place people want to sit and stay a while.

Something big is about to take shape at Palmer Trinity School.

RDC Design/Build is proud to be the builder of the Palmer Trinity Aquatic Center, a one-of-a-kind facility that will include an NCAA-regulated competition pool and a single-story Aquatic Center Pavilion with locker rooms, restrooms, administrative offices, mechanical yards, and more.

At the heart of it is a competition pool, the same pool system trusted in competition venues around the world:

*168' × 75' overall
*About 12,600 sq ft of water surface
*About 691,000 gallons

Precision like this takes planning, coordination and a team that sweats the details. That's what we do at RDC, from preconstruction through the final handover.

Our Wellington Family Aquatic Center made the pages of Aquatics International. Swipe to see the full feature.

The project: a versatile aquatics hub built for the Village of Wellington, Florida. A stretch-50 competition pool, nearly 16,000 square feet and 64 meters long, outfitted with a movable bulkhead so it can be reconfigured for different uses. It features 1- and 3-meter diving boards, with depths ranging from 6'8" to 13 feet.

On the other side of the building sits a separate, nearly 8,100 square foot leisure pool. A freeform, beach-entry design with play structures for families, connected by an obstacle course bridge that spans both pools.

Built with fun, practicality, and inclusion in mind, for a community that keeps growing.

Pool: 6,463 SF, 240,000 gallons, 8 competition lanes

Proud to have partnered with the City of Miami, Alleguez Architecture, and Aquadynamics to bring this one to reality.

Throwback to a very unique pool: Porsche Design Tower in Sunny Isles Beach, FL.

RDC designed and built 116 individual balcony pools across floors 7 - 55
meaning most residents in this 60-story tower have their own private pool with an ocean view. Add 2 penthouse pools, an amenity deck pool, and spa pools at the 6th floor, all executed with Myrtha Pools systems, and you've got one of the most technically ambitious residential pool scopes in South Florida.

Here's the detail most people don't know: residents don't park and take an elevator up separately from their car. Each unit has its own private "sky garage" — a robotic lift carries your car straight up to your floor, so it parks right next to your living room. Pools on the balcony, cars in the living room. That's Porsche Design Tower.

Delivered design/build. Completed in 2016. Still one we're proud to look back on.
