In honor of National Homeownership Month, we're resharing one of our favorite homeowner remodeling stories.

Some houses are simply where we live. Others become an important part of our lives. For Sharon, this Old Town farmhouse was where she and her husband started a family. It’s where she created memories that stayed with her long after they moved away. After selling the home, Sharon never forgot the farmhouse that held a piece of her heart. Years later, she had the rare opportunity to buy it back, and begin a new chapter in the place that had always felt like home.

HighCraft’s Kira Koldeway and her family recently attended the Weld “Sonny Mapelli” Distinguished Citizen Dinner to honor long-time friends, John and Matt Anderson (pictured here).

It was a meaningful evening celebrating the kind of leadership that quietly shapes a community over time. Through their involvement in scouting, Matt and John have made a lasting impact on generations of young people, instilling values of leadership, service, and character. It was an honor to be there in support of them and all they continue to do.
