A fun little winter project our irrigation team wrapped up at the RCS Athletic Field

Our crew rerouted the mainline and reworked the irrigation system to accommodate the new artificial turf field. Excited to see this upgraded space come together!

Fossil Lake Ranch, Lady Moon Project 🌙

ZGL is proud to be working alongside W Squared Excavating on improvements to the Fossil Lake Lady Moon site.

Phase One focused on preparing the area for a new drain system. Our team removed the existing cobble rock and carefully relocated large boulders to allow W Squared to install a new outlet and drain pipe feeding into the pond.

Phase Two is coming up next and will include finish grading, installation of a new irrigation system, and planting of native turf to complete the landscape.

We’re excited to see this project come together and will continue to share updates along the way!

We’re excited to officially share our newly remodeled office extension!

This project was all about growth—not just in space, but in how we work together as a team. With the expansion, we’re now able to bring more of our crew under one roof, including our maintenance account managers and landscape designers. Having everyone in one central location makes collaboration easier, communication smoother, and ultimately helps us deliver an even better experience for our clients.

We were intentional with every detail of this space, creating an environment that supports teamwork, creativity, and efficiency. It’s a big step forward for us, and we’re proud of what it represents for the future of our company.

We’re excited to share progress on Phase 1 at Hach!

The first photo shows where we started, followed by several progress shots as this space begins to take shape.

This phase is our Demonstration Garden, designed to highlight the natural transition of Colorado’s landscapes—from foothills to prairie to wetlands. The goal is to create a space that not only looks beautiful, but also demonstrates sustainable, water-wise landscaping practices.

We’ve installed two native grass seed mixes specific to the foothills and prairie regions, offering an alternative to traditional turf while supporting water conservation. All plants selected are native to Colorado and suited to their natural environments.

Once the area is fully established, we’ll be introducing wildflower seed to enhance biodiversity and bring seasonal color to the landscape.

This pathway will also connect into Phase 2, which is already underway—so there’s more to come!

We’re looking forward to seeing this project continue to evolve. 🌱
