Enjoy this chill compilation. Oak leaf bokashi compost. Sound on.
Composting doesn’t have to be perfect to be positive.
Sometimes it dries out. Sometimes the leaves hang around.
But the food scraps are completely decomposed
Oak leaves break down slower than most other leaves due to their composition. Notice there’s zero identifiable food scraps in this compost.
While dry, microbes go dormant. As it rehydrates, the microbes will wake back up and start their silent work.
The fluffy organic matter of the leaves holds moisture and allows for ideal drainage.
Bokashi composting 🤝 oak leaves = use what you have.
