The hall bathroom remediation process began with a detailed inspection to identify affected areas and document the condition of the space. Inspection photos showed marked areas throughout the bathroom, including the walls and ceiling, to identify locations requiring removal and repair.
The rip-out phase involved removing the affected drywall from the ceiling and walls, exposing the underlying framing, insulation, plumbing, electrical components, and ventilation. This allowed the work area to be properly accessed and prepared for remediation and reconstruction.
Following demolition, the bathroom was rebuilt by installing new drywall and completing necessary wall and ceiling repairs. The surfaces were taped, mudded, sanded, and prepared for finishing. Electrical and lighting components were also addressed as part of the reconstruction process.
During the return trip, the repaired areas were inspected and final finishing work was completed. The walls and ceiling were finished, painted, and blended with the existing surfaces. Existing light fixtures were removed, cleaned and reinstalled and the bathroom was restored with its existing tub/shower, vanity, toilet, flooring, and fixtures.
The final walkthrough confirmed a clean, finished, and functional hall bathroom, with the affected areas repaired and the space returned to a move-in-ready condition.
