Last week, we had the pleasure of helping one of our loyal customers fix an erosion issue around their home. 🌱
This project required more than simply adding a little soil and grass seed. We dug out the loose, unstable soil and brought in premium topsoil to rebuild the area properly.
The new soil was compacted in 2-inch lifts to create a solid, stable base, while also establishing a gradual slope away from the house that transitions smoothly into the existing yard.
Once the grading was complete, we applied premium Tall Fescue grass seed, followed by a straw erosion-control mat to help keep the seed in place, reduce additional erosion, and retain moisture during establishment.
The goal wasn’t just to make the area look better — it was to correct the problem, improve drainage away from the home, and give the new grass the best possible foundation to establish.
