🧊 Is Your Home Prepared for the Freeze Warnings?

It's time to gear up and safeguard your plumbing. Here are two essential tips to keep your pipes from freezing:

1️⃣ Spigot Protectors: Invest in sturdy covers for your outdoor spigots. This simple step prevents freezing and the headaches that come with burst pipes.

2️⃣ Unhook Hoses: Don't forget to detach those outdoor hoses. By allowing your pipes to drain, you reduce the risk of damage and ensure they stay in top shape.

Don't wait – protect your pipes and keep water flowing smoothly during this cold weather!

A local farmer faced an unexpected challenge – their grain pit slowly filling with water.

The water should have been flowing smoothly through an underground field tile but was failing due to a blockage.

Through a collaborative effort with the farm owner, the renter, neighbors and even the gentleman who installed the field tile 30 years ago, we had a plan: locate the hidden drain and clear the obstruction.

The problem? It was located way out in the field.

To solve it, we installed a 10’ riser to make the line accessible for hydrojetting and pumping.

Doing this ensures the field tile will stay free of blockages until harvest is over, when the broken tile will then be repaired.

Hey there, homeowners!

When it comes to your septic tank, it's perfectly normal for it to have some level of fullness.

But here's the deal: there's a sweet spot you want to maintain.

If it gets too clogged or overly full, that's when problems start!

Your best move?

Stay proactive and schedule regular pumping to keep things running smoothly.

Your septic system will thank you!

So, how often should septic tanks be pumped?

We recommend 3-5 years for a family and 5-7 years for a couple.
