It’s Fire Prevention Month, and with fireplace season here, we wanted to share a few reminders to help keep you, your family, and your pets safe.

🚨Have your fireplace and chimney professionally inspected each year and cleaned as needed, even if everything seems to be working properly.

🚨Keep blankets, furniture, and seasonal decorations at least three feet away from the fireplace, and give children and pets that same distance.

🚨Fireplace glass can stay hot even after the fire is off, so always follow the safety instructions for your unit.

You’ll find an incredible electric fireplace from Badger Masonry & Fireplace Supply featured in the Dream Builders home, house number three on the tour, located at📍W7239 Waterway Drive in Fond du Lac.

The event runs September 24–27, 2026, Thursday + Friday: 4–7 PM and Saturday + Sunday: 11 AM–4 PM. Come take a look and see how the right fireplace can completely change the feel of a room.
