What began as a leaking bottle-filler station became a complete diagnostic, repair and restoration project.
Our technicians were dispatched to investigate an active leak at this dual drinking fountain and bottle-filling station. During the inspection, we discovered that an internal gasket had not been seated correctly when the equipment was previously serviced and reassembled.
That small assembly issue allowed water to leak behind the equipment and into the wall, eventually causing significant moisture damage and mold growth throughout the lower section.
Our team:
• Disconnected and removed both fountain units
• Located and corrected the source of the leak
• Removed the affected wall materials
• Rebuilt, finished and painted the wall
• Properly reassembled and reinstalled both units
• Tested the complete system and returned it to service
The visible leak was only part of the problem. Proper facility maintenance means identifying the actual source, addressing the hidden damage and rebuilding the system correctly.
