What’s actually in the water coming into our homes?

We see the effects of North Texas water every day through hard water, scale buildup, fixtures and water heaters, so we pulled the public data for Fort Worth.

EWG lists 40 contaminants detected, with 16 above its health guidelines.

Important context: that does **not** mean Fort Worth is violating EPA drinking water standards. EWG health guidelines and EPA legal limits are two different benchmarks.

This tree broke a sewer line without ever moving an inch.

Its roots had damaged the line running beside it, and putting the replacement right back in the same path would have left us with the same problem all over again.

So we rerouted the damaged section around the other side of the tree and gave the new pipe some breathing room from the roots.

The tree stayed.

The sewer line got a better route.

This homeowner wanted to avoid cutting the concrete, so we replaced the entire water service from the meter to the house by pulling the new line through the existing path.
