I had never seen a lamp quite like this before, so naturally I had to bring it home and give it some love. It needed a new wire and plug, so Sundial Wire was the perfect place to start.

But the thing about DIY projects? They’re not always 100% finished in one go!

This lamp uses an R7s double-ended halogen bulb, and it gets HOT, which makes me think it’s missing its heat-resistant glass safety cover. Now I’m on the hunt for the correct one so I can get this beauty safely working again.

If you recognize this lamp or know what cover belongs here, sound off in the comments! I’d love to get this project completely finished and safely back in working order.
