When we bring in trees, we’re doing the research for you… choosing varieties that are well suited to our heat, humidity, winters, and growing conditions. Our latest shipment includes several apple varieties specifically selected for their ability to grow and produce fruit in our Southern climate, along with peaches, pears, plums, plumcots, fruit cocktail trees, and so much more.

That’s one of the perks of shopping with a local garden center. We don’t just want to sell you a tree, we want to help you choose one that has a real chance to thrive in your yard for years to come.

Come explore our newest tree shipment and let us help you find the right fit for your garden. 🌱

These 4-inch beauties are some of the latest to make their way from our growers up to our Blooming House… perfect for your Fall container gardens!

When life gives you lemons… make a succulent planter. 🌿

A broken pot doesn’t have to mean a trip to the trash! We spotted this little creation in the greenhouse today, where one of our team members turned a damaged pot into the perfect cascading succulent arrangement.

Sometimes a chip, crack, or missing piece is just an opportunity to get a little creative. We love finding new ways to give our pottery a second life. 🤍

Seasonal indoor arrangements are such a fun way to enjoy the shifting seasons 🍂 You can bring in those warm autumn colors without necessarily going all in on fall décor.

We just got these white ceramic pumpkin pots in yesterday, and we couldn’t resist planting one up! We paired a Dracaena marginata with a colorful croton and autumn fern for a combination that feels festive but still works beautifully as an indoor plant arrangement.

We drilled a drainage hole in this one so we could plant directly into it, something we’re always happy to do for you! Or, leave it as-is and use it as a cute candy dish, centerpiece, or little piece of fall décor. 🤍🎃

Yes, we have the Strawberry Blonde Marigold again this year! 🧡 And if you remember how quickly we sold out last fall, you know this one is worth grabbing early.

We may still be in the middle of a heat wave, but marigolds don’t mind! ☀️ They thrive in the heat and sunshine while bringing those rich yellows, oranges, and warm autumn tones into the garden, perfect for when you’re ready for fall color, even if the weather isn’t quite there yet.

Stop by and shop our locally grown marigolds, including the much-requested Strawberry Blonde, while they’re here!

Asters and garden mums are actually in the same plant family, but there are a few key differences between these fall favorites! 🍂

🌸 Asters have a looser, more natural growth habit, typically bloom in cooler shades of purple, pink, blue and white, and are especially valuable for supporting late-season pollinators.

🍁 Garden mums tend to be more compact and mounded, with dense blooms in those classic autumnal shades of yellow, orange, bronze, red and burgundy.

Both can be grown as perennials here in South Carolina, although their success returning year after year can depend on variety, planting time and growing conditions.

Which would you choose for your fall garden: asters or mums?

Some VERY fun new arrivals just landed in the greenhouse! 🌿

We’re still completely head over heels for all of our new orchid varieties, and even more beautiful blooms have opened up since they arrived.

But we’re especially excited about this round of Pink Princess Philodendrons, we were able to bring them in at our most competitive price yet! If a Pink Princess has been sitting on your wishlist, this is a great time to finally bring one home.

And for all of our carnivorous plant lovers: Butterworts are back! These little guys are always highly requested and never seem to stick around for long.

Come take a greenhouse stroll and see what’s new, there are lots of treasures tucked in right now.
