It’s happening… Windows are being installed at our project.

A couple differences between these verses the typical American window is 1) they don’t have a fl**ge that sits tight to the wood sheathing. This allows us to place the window anywhere we want to in the opening 2) the operation is tilt/turn meaning you rotate the handle 90° and it opens into the room. Rotate the handle 180° and it tilts into the room allowing for ventilation.

From the install to functionality to aesthetics this is an impressive window.

WINDOW DELIVERY

Yesterday we took delivery of our triple glazed Schuco windows from European Architectural Supply. This is a first for us and we are excited to get them set next week.

Today we started installing these new Marvin windows for a repeat client. The house was built sometime in 1960’s so as you can imagine the old windows were single pane, drafty, and simply not functioning well.

We put large holes in the side of our house and it’s important that they are filled with quality airtight windows.
