We recently completed commercial roofing work for East Fork Pottery at their facility on Caribou Road in Asheville.

When adding new rooftop equipment, properly sealing every new opening is essential to protecting the building below. Our team handled the critical detailing on their single-ply roof:

Flashed a new 4x6 HVAC curb using high-performance TPO membrane.

Sealed four individual pipe penetrations up to 24 inches in diameter.

Integrated all new flashings directly into the existing membrane using manufacturer-approved methods.

After 12 years of providing roof service and repairs for a hotel in booming downtown Spartanburg, SC, the team is starting a complete commercial roof replacement on the property.

The scope includes upgrading the lower ballasted sections with a Carlisle 60-mil EPDM membrane and an additional layer of 1.5" ISO insulation, alongside a fully adhered Carlisle 60-mil TPO system with tapered insulation on the upper roof.

A massive tree crashed from an upper bank onto a commercial plaza, damaging 30x40 ft of roof deck across 2.5 units. Fortunately, the incident occurred early in the morning and no one was injured.

🌲 Teamed up with Epperson Tree with a 100-ton rig to safely hoist the trunk.

🔨 Removing damaged I-joists and prepping down to steel decking.

🛡️ Installing two layers of Poly ISO (R-19) and a Carlisle 75 mil reinforced EPDM system for maximum puncture and shade resistance.

WNC Roofing completed a commercial gutter and downspout replacement for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) facility in Marion, NC.

Large commercial roof surfaces produce significantly higher runoff volumes than standard gutters can handle.

To manage heavy rain without risking structural water intrusion, the team removed the old system while preserving the existing roof edge metals, replacing it with heavy-duty 24-gauge commercial-grade 6-inch box gutters.

The full video tour and blog for our restoration project at the historic Saluda Dam facility in Greenville, SC are officially live!

This was a massive build from the deck up. We replaced heavy structural timbers, installed a solid 8x8 Timber column, laid brand new 2.5" tongue and groove decking, and capped it off with a 60 Mil Carlisle TPO roof membrane system.

We recently completed a comprehensive reroofing project for the Food Lion located at 2116 Morganton Blvd in Lenoir, NC!

We overhauled a 50,500-square-foot flat roof system, replacing the aging ballasted EPDM roof with a modern, energy-efficient Carlisle white 60 mil TPO membrane.

With an upgraded R-30 thermal rating and custom tapered crickets to stop standing water, this facility is now sealed and protected for decades.

When the Embassy Suites in downtown Greenville, SC needed a new roof underneath the popular UP On The Roof restaurant, WNC Roofing stepped up to handle the job.

We tore down the old system to the bare deck, installed new tapered insulation and a fully adhered 80-mil Carlisle TPO roof, and then built out a stunning 5,100 sq. ft. paver patio using Bison pedestals and Hanover concrete pavers. We even built 30 custom rolling planter bases to help restaurant staff easily adapt their outdoor layout!
