We got to spend some time with the next generation of builders, tradespeople, and industry leaders at the Madison Area Builders Association Career Day!

10 area schools, 200+ students, 10 stations of different trades and organizations talking to the kids about different jobs and careers in the home building industry, and our very own, Mike (alongside Eric Willman with Veridian Homes) was there to talk about opportunities working for or as a builder.

We shared our stories, talked about different career paths, and even threw in some free unsolicited life advice…whether they were actually listening or not is still up for debate 😅

But seriously, we LOVE getting opportunities like this. Being able to give back to our community, share what we’ve learned and experienced in our careers, and hopefully help the next generation see opportunities they might not have known existed is something we’re proud to be part of. If we helped even just one kid find a career path, get inspired, or realize there’s a future for them in this industry, it was absolutely worth it.

Thanks to the Madison Area Builders Association for putting this together and helping invest in the future of our industry! 🙌

Six homes. Six communities. One big question…

Which one do you like best?? 👀

Different locations. Different floor plans. Different styles. Different ways to make a house feel like your home. And they range from the mid-$500s to just over $1M🏡

But they all have one thing in common: they were built by Maverick.

We’re not trying to build the biggest house on the block. We’re trying to build homes that are well thought-out, well-built, and make sense for real people and real families.

So…which one is calling your name?

Take a look through the videos, pick your favorite, and then shoot us a message and we’d be happy to set up a time for you to come see it for yourself.

Two local news stories recently covered a Miracle League of Dane County game, and a familiar face made his way into BOTH of them…Maverik (white shirt in the videos)!

For those who don’t know, Mav is Mike’s son — and he’s also a big part of the inspiration behind the name of Maverick Homes. So yeah…we might be just a little biased, but seeing him out there playing ball, having fun, and getting some time on the news is pretty dang cool.

We love being able to support our community and organizations like the Miracle League. There’s something pretty special about watching Mav and all of these kids get out on the field, play ball with each other and their Buddies, and just having a great time. That’s the kind of stuff we love getting to be a part of helping build in our communities. Building homes is what we do, but building a company and a community we can be proud of is what it’s really all about.

We’re really proud of you, Mav! 💙⚾️

Today we’re celebrating the guy who somehow manages to wear about 37 different hats…without missing a beat.

Michael, your leadership is the heartbeat of Maverick Homes. From leading our meetings and keeping every moving piece on track to jumping in wherever you’re needed to help out, you somehow make the impossible look routine.

Thank you for being the leader who keeps us laughing through the busiest days, and the person who reminds us that work can be both productive and fun. Maverick Homes wouldn’t be what it is without YOU!

Here’s to another year of success, growth, and plenty more stories, laughs, and unforgettable moments!

Happy Birthday, Mike! We appreciate you more than you know! 🎉🏡 🎂🎈

A little moment of appreciation for this ROCKSTAR team👏

Building our very first Parade Home was a huge milestone for Maverick Homes, and these are the people who made it happen.

Throughout the parade, we heard so many compliments about the floor plan, the finishes, the craftsmanship, and how the home just felt different the moment people walked through the front door. That’s not by accident. It’s the result of a team that genuinely cares about doing things the right way.

To everyone who poured their time, talent, and heart into this home—thank you. We’re incredibly proud of what we built together.

At Maverick Homes, we believe every home should be: Designed Right. Built Right. Feels Right.

And this home is exactly what that means.

Hey, Maverick Homes family!

Wild news…thanks to you all, we made it to the final round of Madison Magazine’s Best of Madison! 🤯🙏🏼

We’re up for Best Home Builder, and the final voting runs from June 1st to June 30th. The catch? You can only vote once per category for the whole month, so every single tap matters.

If you’ve got a spare 60 seconds today, we would be incredibly grateful if you threw a vote our way. Building homes for our neighbors is the best job in the world, and your support keeps us going.

🔗 The link to vote is right below in the comments.

Thank you all so much. Seriously. We have the best community behind us! 🙌
