I am the Regional Project Manager for WHS Homes in the western US. We design and manufacture timber frame, post & beam & log homes throughout the US.

The timbers are raised on our Montana pavilion project! A collaboration with Elevation Architecture & Interiors and Blue Ribbon Builders, we fabricated the rough sawn timbers with scissor trusses and metal connections that were test fit and pre-assembled for quick and easy installation. When efficiency and precision matter, Timberpeg works with builders and architects to ensure the fit and finish is what their clients are looking for. We’re looking forward to the next great project with this team!

Site progress from our family ski house in Sugarloaf Maine! The team has been working hard all winter to get this house shelled up and weather tight and now the progress begins to show. Utilizing rough sawn Douglas fir timbers on the exterior, this home was expertly designed by the team at and built by . We’re looking forward to seeing the exterior stonework and remaining timber work get wrapped up and the interior finishes take shape!

The latest edition of is out and it was the perfect week to visit the location of our newest project in Lakeside, Montana. Just south of Whitefish with an incredible view of Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park in the distance. Build Magazine has been a great partner to us and we’re looking forward to this incredible project!

Supra Omnia, Above Everything, and to our client building Skywell this home means Family Above Everything. There are projects that are exciting because they feature picturesque locations, incredible architectural features and captivating spaces. This home features all of these elements set in the hills of Connecticut with commanding views to the East where the home quite literally sits above everything in the area. Featuring a heavy timber frame throughout with hybrid, conventionally framed wall panels and pre-cut roof systems, this home is going up quickly! Looking forward to sharing updates as this project progresses this summer.

This project just wrapped up in our shop and is now on site in Montana. Working alongside and .arch made for a seamless collaboration from design through fabrication, and we are excited to see everything come together on site.

Our shop carefully coordinated the timber and steel connections while also test fitting and pre-assembling these scissor trusses to help simplify installation in the field.

I was recently talking with an architect about their process when the conversation switched to hand sketching and how it’s the first part of his process; this is exactly the approach we take with clients at when they’re uncertain about the floor plan or what they would like their elevations to look like. It’s incredible to see Jim absorb the information from the clients, and turn their vision into their dream in sketch. From there we take those sketches to CAD drawings before finally turning them into the beautiful homes that have been synonymous with timber framing for over 50 years.
