We recently completed this first floor renovation. We removed the walls between the foyer, kitchen, dining room; and living room. The living room was sunken; we framed that up to be level with the rest of the first floor. Removing the walls made such a difference. We were able to follow the roof line to give a cathedral ceiling to the new living & dining space. With the windows shining light from front to back; the high ceilings; the open floor plan; new kitchen design, this reno hits all the buttons for fabulous!!
