Plumbing / HVAC Technician / General Laborer

Johnson Salvage & Overhaul LLC is looking for a dependable, hard-working individual to join our team. We are hiring for Plumbing, HVAC Service, and General Labor work. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person who is motivated and ready to learn.

Responsibilities

* Assist with HVAC and plumbing service, repairs, and installations
* Troubleshoot equipment and complete basic repairs based on experience
* Perform general construction and labor duties
* Load/unload tools, equipment, and materials
* Maintain clean and organized jobsites
* Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
* Follow company and jobsite safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
* Dependable and shows up ready to work
* Mechanically inclined and willing to learn
* Able to perform physical work and lift equipment/materials
* Professional attitude and good customer-service skills
* HVAC, plumbing, construction, or maintenance experience is a plus

No experience? We’re willing to consider someone with a strong work ethic who wants to learn a skilled trade and grow with the company.

Pay is based on experience.
Benefits available after 90 days.

Full HVAC system we installed last week. The homeowner wanted to do the Air conditioner only but after we started removing the old unit off of the top of the furnace it was caught that the heat exchanger had 2 massive cracks on it!!! Another company was out this past winter and stated the unit was safe to run. This is a prime example why we take our thorough safety inspection very serious. After we showed this to the homeowner immediately they had us do a full system swamp with a new furnace. And we’re very relieved that we found this issue when we did before winter hits. We highly  recommend a Furnace safety inspection. Just because your furnace is running fine doesn’t mean it’s safe to run. Give us a call today for a full thorough safety inspection with visual inspection along with combustion test to make sure you and your home is safe!!

This summer we tackled this whole home remodel alongside Yingling Home Solutions LLC. This project entailed stripping all the walls of wall paper, repairing and paint prep. We added board and baton throughout the entire home. We rebuilt both set of stairs from new stringer to newly stained treads. We installed new flooring in the basement. All the doors in the home were replaced with a 6 panel painted to match the board and baton. Yingling Home Solutions did an amazing job on refinishing the hardwood floors.
