Last November, we completed a grading and sod installation project for this customer with one major goal: keep water away from the house and out of the basement.

Fast-forward nearly 10 months…

After almost 2 inches of rain overnight, we received this message last Thursday on our way up North:

“Almost 2” of rain last night and my basement stayed dry. Thanks for the great work last November grading and installing the sod.”

This is what doing the job RIGHT looks like.

Not just making a property look good when we leave — but fixing the underlying problem and having our work still perform when it matters months later.

As a small Business owner we have to find ways to adapt and make things work.

Unfortunately we do not have a dedicated building, we are a lot smaller than most people think we are. We just work a lot!
(If anyone has a building to rent in the Ferndale area that doesn’t want $4,000 a month let me know!)

My wife said to me “ You know you have boxes of shirts upstairs, downstairs, and a ton in our closet”. I said there ain’t no way…

As always, she was right!

We got everything together in one area now finally.

Sunday Fundays for us are always built around messing with some kind of house projects that turn into way more than we thought.

A job we knocked out 4 years ago today!

I remember getting the call for it and it being out of our Service area at the time… The customer was redoing a patio and going to seed everything on their own.

Spent all day there messing with that and really learning the ins & out of the Harley Rake attachment.

Came out great!

Around the Garage clean-out with some rock installed down the fence!

One of the best things we have invested in is the ground protection mats. As you can see it doesn’t even look like we were there.

They allow us to get into parts of the yard without tearing up all the grass.
