With the threat of dangerous winter weather coming over the weekend, we are making preparations now to combat the weather and potential outages. Please pray for our linemen & support staff as we navigate this challenging situation.

We encourage members to prepare as well, with some of the safety tips below! Although we do everything we can to provide reliable electricity, we cannot control the weather or the damages/outages it can cause when snow and ice are involved.

ICE & POWER LINES DON'T MIX WELL!!

* If you rely on essential medical devices, PLEASE prepare for potential power outages. During these conditions, we cannot control the length of outages & safety is our #1 priority!!

* Prepare your home - Keep faucets dripping to prevent frozen pipes. Know how to shut off water valves in case pipes burst.

* Have a backup plan! Make plans to communicate with family to stay with them while power is out. Have a supply kit with batteries, first aid items, battery backups, battery powered lights and radio.

STAY AWAY FROM DOWNED LINES!!! Power lines can be energized even if they are on the ground! Assume all low and downed lines are energized & dangerous. Do NOT go near them & call us to notify us ASAP.
