Floaters because why not. Tread is a PT LVL with a WPM and Timbertech Mahogany fascia. Eventually I will swap the PT top boards for Mahogany PVC but this will do for now. Once the 5/4 drys out they will get some Cutek Extreme.

Utility companies get a kick out of installing crooked meters and lines. Installing a PVC block with a plumb line for indication helps the process before they get the chance. This also looks better and allows for the opening to be trimmed or J channeled and sealed.

I’ve “made” a few gates in the past and I can say this is the way to go for safety and longevity. This aluminum gate has a welded rail to baluster connection and is made by ProWood.
