Heavy Equipment/Truck Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and dependable heavy equipment/truck mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment.
Responsibilities
• Diagnose, repair and maintain heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, skid loaders, related machinery, and triaxles.
• Perform routine maintenance including inspections, fluid changes, and part replacements
• Troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Document repairs, parts used, and equipment status accurately
• Ensure equipment is safe, reliable, and compliant with company and industrial standards
• Work independently or as a part of a field/yard team
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to read schematics and service manuals
• Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
• Valid PA driver’s license, CDL preferred, but not required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in outdoor/field environments
• Having own tools to bring into the shop and use
