Wait… you have to service your garage door?! 😳
Yep, and you’re definitely not the only one who didn’t know. Your garage door is one of the largest moving systems in your home, yet it’s also one of the easiest to forget about. Right up until it stops working. 👀
We recommend having your garage door serviced about twice a year to help catch small problems before they become big, expensive ones. During routine maintenance, we can lubricate hinges, rollers & bearings, inspect springs and cables, check rollers, hinges and track alignment, inspect seals, check door balance, tighten appropriate hardware, and look for worn components before they fail.
Because eventually, neglected parts wear out. Springs can break. Cables can fail. Rollers and hinges wear down. Doors can come off track or stop opening altogether. And each can have effects on other parts. That’s when the door fails, and usually at the least convenient possible time. 🙃
