Just an FYI to our FRS members, I am finding it hard to wait until Wednesday, September 02, 2026, to send out our monthly newsletter. You are in for a treat! Jessica outdid herself and created a masterpiece!
I color with crayons, she has taken this to a whole new level! Once you get the newsletter and feel the same way, send her a "Thank You" and appreciation!

At our August 8, 2026 Fayetteville Rose Society 🌹 meeting it was my pleasure to present Janine Lackman with the 2026 Bronze Honor Medal for her many years of support and contributions to the Fayetteville Rose Society!

Bring some flowers/roses or greenery
We will also be having a vase swap! You ask, what is a vase swap? Bring a vase that you no longer use (or like) place it on the table with all the others.... if you like one of the vases on the table, take it, it is yours. Use that to make a beautiful arrangement to take home with you.
Come out and have some fun and enjoy some of the best people you ever met (Rose People)
I also have some Abraham Darby Rose bushes left, if you are interested, let me know, they are $25 each.

As we celebrate 250 years of the United States of America, this is a historical milestone! Take time to enjoy with friends and family! 250 years, let that sink in! This is a Big Birthday Celebration!

Had a wonderful time!
It was hot, (Yes)
Our annual Rose Propagation was held today (Saturday, June 13, 2026) at the Fayetteville Rose Garden!
We went over rose propagation techniques and some you don't see on YouTube. It is always good to have rose mentors to help show you how they do it so you can learn from them.
Everyone (who wanted) walked away with a cutting and will compare how things grow.
We have a visitor who showed up and stayed for some good conversation and rose tips.
