Had a wonderful time!
It was hot, (Yes)
Our annual Rose Propagation was held today (Saturday, June 13, 2026) at the Fayetteville Rose Garden!
We went over rose propagation techniques and some you don't see on YouTube. It is always good to have rose mentors to help show you how they do it so you can learn from them.
Everyone (who wanted) walked away with a cutting and will compare how things grow.
We have a visitor who showed up and stayed for some good conversation and rose tips.
Next meeting, July 11, 2026, 10 AM

Our annual Rose Propagation will be the Saturday, June 13th, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at the Fayetteville Rose Garden.
Want to learn at least one way to propagate?
For us old schoolers, come with pen and paper to write down those "tips" that are often overlooked that make all the difference!
If you would like, bring fresh cuttings (Saturday am before you leave home)
Disease/pest free
Roses are meant to be shared! Very few things bring a smile a rose enthusiast person that sharing a cutting and someone had success propagating it!
We will walk you through the steps on how to...
We will be demonstrating the individual 16 oz water bottle rooting.
It is easy, takes up less room
and best of all less expensive!
Come on out, Saturday, June 13th, 10:00 am at the Fayetteville Rose Garden, 2201 Hull Road, Fayetteville, N.C. (Lafayette Hall)

Our next meeting will be Saturday, June 13, 2026, 10 AM at the Fayetteville Rose Garden. If you have clipping you would like to propagate or share, please cut that morning and bring in a container of water.
Thanks,
Marvin

We had an invite from our rose 🌹 friends, Greater Greenville Rose Society to join them at the Biltmore for a tour of the rose garden.
Of course we said, "Yes" it was a great time to spend time with fellow rose enthusiasts that we do not get to see very often.
Dianne and Lynn Sneath did a wonderful job coming up with this and to host a fun and educational opportunity.
Stacey Weir and staff were full of knowledge and shared the history of the rose garden, the changes over time.
Much information is gained via the internet, but when you have a great network of rose friends you are set up for success. Find a local rose society and you will see what I mean.
