For the last decade, Keith has played a huge role in keeping our shop, equipment, and fleet running.

He’s easygoing, always good for a laugh, always willing to lend a hand, and someone we know we can count on.

Today, we were proud to celebrate our longest-tenured employee, Mike Childs, on his 40th work anniversary with Fayetteville Contractors.

Mike has been a part of our team through many chapters and has worn a lot of different hats over the years, from driving truck to supporting countless paving jobs, and just about everything in between.

Forty years is an incredible accomplishment in any profession, but especially in this industry. Through it all, Mike has been someone we could count on to show up, work hard, and do whatever needed done.

Mike, thank you for your dedication and everything you’ve contributed to Fayetteville Contractors over the last 40 years.

𝘼𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨.

At our end-of-season luncheon last month, we were proud to honor three retirees who helped shape FCI over the years — Steve Lynch (2012), Bob Rhone (2011), and Mike “McGiver” Young (1989).

Each of these men leaves behind decades of experience and a standard of hard work that represents the best of the trades. We’re grateful for their dedication and the many seasons they gave to FCI.

This year, we welcomed new faces to the team, dug back into the dirt-work side of the business, and took on many complex paving jobs together.

Thank you to every crew member, driver, operator, and our shop, asphalt, and office staff who pushed through a season of rain delays and shifting schedules to show up every day and see it through.
