Holaway Custom Builds – Seeking Quality Trade Partners in Northwest Arkansas

Holaway Custom Builds is a residential design-build firm specializing in new construction, additions, and renovations. We're expanding our network of skilled, reliable, owner-operated subcontractors interested in building long-term working relationships.

Trades We're Looking For:

Demolition & Framing: New construction, additions, structural remodels, temporary shoring, load-bearing wall removal, and beam installation.

Windows & Doors: Experienced installers with expertise in proper flashing and weatherproofing.

Exterior Siding: Skilled siding and exterior trim crews.

Insulation: Residential insulation installers.

Drywall: Crews capable of whole-home new construction, remodels, and smaller jobs such as patches and repairs.

Painting: Professional interior and exterior painters.

Handyman Services: Make-ready work, punch lists, touch-ups, minor repairs, hardware installation, and appliance installation.

Who We're Looking For

We want to work directly with owner-operated crews. Owners must be actively involved in the work, managing their crews and ensuring quality. We're not interested in companies that simply subcontract the work to someone else.

We value technical expertise, communication, dependable scheduling, and quality workmanship.

How We Operate

We provide detailed scopes of work, plans, and specifications for bidding before construction begins. Our projects have active project managers who coordinate work and help keep schedules on track.

Trade partners receive an anticipated start window in advance, followed by a coordinated start date as the project approaches.

We're not looking for the cheapest bid. We're looking for dependable professionals who communicate well, honor their commitments, and take pride in their work.

Interested?

If you own and operate a quality construction crew in Northwest Arkansas, we'd like to connect.

Send us a direct message with your trade, company name, crew size, and examples of your work.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗖𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲

We recently wrapped up this kitchen remodel in the Rolling Hills neighborhood, and what a transformation it was!

The original kitchen was long and narrow. It seemed like everyone naturally gathered there, but before long, they’d all be packed in like slices of toast! It simply wasn’t designed for the way this family lives and entertains.

The solution wasn’t just new cabinets and countertops—it started with a thoughtful design.

By listening carefully to our clients’ goals, we developed a plan that relocated the laundry and mechanical room, allowing us to open up the surrounding walls and create a kitchen that’s brighter, more functional, and much more inviting.

Every successful remodel begins with understanding how a family wants to live in their home. Once we have that vision, we can design a space that not only looks beautiful but works better every single day.

If your home feels like it’s fighting against the way you live, let’s talk. We’d love to help you reimagine your space.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲

We had the privilege of restoring a truly special home here in Fayetteville—one originally built by Professor John Williams and renowned architect E. Fay Jones.

Time and the Arkansas weather had taken their toll on the home’s signature cantilevered concrete deck and custom wood siding. Water had made its way through the original deck assembly, causing rot in the framing and damaging portions of the siding.

Our goal was to preserve the home’s original character while improving its long-term performance.

To restore the siding, we milled cypress lumber on site to match the original profiles as closely as possible. For the deck, we maintained the original appearance but incorporated modern building techniques. After repairing the structural framing, we installed a robust waterproofing and drainage system beneath the concrete slab to keep water out where it belongs. We then poured a new concrete deck designed to minimize water intrusion, installed a new railing, and finished all of the wood with a fresh coat of stain.

Projects like this remind us that great craftsmanship isn’t just about building something new—it’s about honoring the original design while ensuring it will serve generations to come.

If you’re planning a renovation or restoration project, we’d love to help.

𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 – 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴

A garage can be a whole lot more than a place to park. Workshop, storage, hobby space—or all three. If you’re tight on space, a custom garage addition can take a load off the rest of your home.

Built sturdy, practical, and ready for whatever you’ve got planned.
