Our customer had a spot in their yard that always stayed muddy, we added this simple rock bed to keep their dogs from bringing so much mud in their home. Landscaping doesn’t just look good, it serves a purpose.

For this customer we regraded the yard with screened top soil and then laid Bermuda sod. We left a path next to the fence where the big dogs like to run and beat down the grass.

Ready for that new shop! 🚜🏗️

On this pad project, as we excavated down for the pad we separated our material and cut benches into the slope above the pad.
We reused the remaining usable fill by placing it in compacted lifts above the pad area, creating a larger, usable area for parking tractors, trailers, boats, and RVs, while also providing plenty of room to maneuver and turn around. Once everything was excavated we fine graded our base for the pad area and graded out the left over top soil for future green areas.
The retaining wall wasn’t built by us, another contractor came in afterward and did an excellent job building it.
Maxwell barns built the shop and are always the best to work with, they build a pretty good looking building as well!(pictures on their page!)

🍂 Last fall, our customer had a vision for a shop on this hillside. We had the opportunity in the summer to help bring that vision to life starting with the excavation and pad build.

From planning and excavation to creating a solid foundation for what’s to come, it’s always rewarding to see a project take shape from the ground up.
