Join Us for the Farmington Memorial Day Parade!

We’re excited to march once again in the Farmington Memorial Day Parade in Unionville and would love for you to join us.

📅 Date: Monday, May 26
📍 Location: Unionville Center
⏰ Meeting Time: 9:30 AM
🚶 Step-off: 10 AM

As in past years, we will be handing out flags along the parade route!

Last night Deputy Chief Paul Krause was honored at Salute to Connecticut's Bravest at the Aquaturf!

"Deputy Chief Krause brings years of dedication to Tunxis Hose Co. 1. Paul has accomplished a great deal at Tunxis Hose during the 6 year tenure. He was named Top Responder multiple years, and has been recognized with meritorious service awards for CPR saves and has been instrumental in improving our firefighter training. His commitment to training and his dedication to the fire service is unmatched.

When he is not volunteering his time, he works full time at Electric Boat as a firefighter/EMT. He also continues his service to the military as the Chairman of the Veterans Memorial Committee in the Town of Farmington.

We at Tunxis Hose applaud Paul Krause for his dedicated years of service to our Country as a US Marine and to Tunxis Hose Co. No. 1. We are proud to have Deputy Chief Paul Krause recognized as this year’s Town of Farmington Firefighter of the Year." - Chief Rich Higley

This past Saturday Joan was awarded the Mike DeNegris Award at the CT District conference. This award is presented to a club member that goes above and beyond for their Club. Their commitment and ongoing efforts to make their Clubs the best possible is commendable and recognized by this award. Joan was one of four recipients for the state this year.

Congratulations to Joan for all of her hard work she has put into our Club over her past 17 years. Thank you for everything you have done and continue to support within our organization!
