Nix project before and after. 1855 farmhouse that should last another 150+ years. This is a passion of mine remodeling and restoring old places. Timber frame, hand hewn beams, spray foam, Roxul insulation, Zip-R sheathing, Lifespan trim, Lifespan clapboard siding, KREG Jig window and door trim, Azek window sills. Subs are working inside. Drywall, paint, mason, flooring, kitchen and counters, custom tile showers. We will return to trim inside, nickel gap, shiplap dormer ceilings, maple stairs, Murphy door, raised panel wainscoting.

Before and after of the Nix project. Spray foam, Zip-R sheathing, Lifespan trim and clapboard siding. The interior is coming along. Drywall, paint, masonry,flooring, kitchen, counters then interior trim. Subs are taking it from here until it’s time for trim and stairs.

Here’s a mid project look!! We have taken an 1855 farmhouse down to the hand hewn timber frame , straightened, pulled back together reframed the inside. We are repurposed many of the interior hand hewn beams in different locations. Window trim going on and Facia and soffits have started. Don’t mind the red door it’s a temporary construction door so the expensive door doesn’t get damaged. The trim is assembled with a KREG Jig pocket screws on the back then installed as one piece. We are using Azek sills with Lifespan pre primed trim and clapboards.

WE’RE HIRING!

We’re looking for qualified carpenters and helpers/laborers to join our company. If you can cut, fabricate and install wooden and other structures according to specifications, read blueprints, take accurate measurements, and possess a working knowledge of carpentry techniques, give us a call! Pay commensurate with experience. This is a full-time position.

It’s always a challenge to build new onto something old. I like challenges!! 🙂

We are a remodeling and building contractor looking to expand and grow. We have year round work. Must be able to follow directions, work independently and work with integrity and quality.

Must have hand tools, drivers license, dependable vehicle, and the willingness to learn.

I am looking for carpenters and lead carpenters to join our team. We are busy and booked into next year. We are looking for people that are self motivated, can work individually on an assortment of projects, someone who can lead a team and produce quality work over quantity. Must have a drivers license with a dependable vehicle. Must have hand tools and a motivated attitude. I pay 5 holidays, one weeks paid vacation after a year, and a company matching IRA after 2 years.
