I practice succession planting of njama njama to ensure a continuous supply of healthy seedlings throughout the growing season. I nurse a new set of seeds about every 3 weeks from early Spring when the ground is thawed and warm and 2 or 3 more times in the summer.
This reduces the timing between harvests, because you stagger when the seedlings are planted. By the time one set is ready for harvest, the other set of seedlings will be ready for transplant.
Succession planting is a smart way to maximize your harvest.
Happy gardening
