WE’RE HIRING — SERVICE TECHNICIANS
Fitch Heating is growing, and we are looking for experienced, dependable technicians to join our heating and plumbing team
We are currently looking for:
• Journeyman or Master Plumbers
• Journeyman or Master Oil Burner Technicians
We are looking for people who know their trade, take pride in their work, and understand the importance of providing good service to our customers
The Position
Our service technicians install, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential and commercial heating and plumbing systems. The right candidate will be comfortable working independently, diagnosing problems, and completing quality work while maintaining a professional relationship with customers
Responsibilities Include:
• Service and repair oil and propane heating systems
• Service and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems, as qualified
• Perform tune-ups, maintenance, efficiency testing, and inspections
• Troubleshoot systems and determine appropriate repairs
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
• Communicate effectively with the office regarding scheduling, job status, parts, customer needs, and any issues that arise
• Maintain a clean and organized service vehicle
• Keep tools and equipment in good working condition
• Accurately document parts, materials, and labor
• Participate in evening and weekend on-call coverage as needed
• Perform propane gas-check inspections when qualified and assigned

• Journeyman or Master licensing in the applicable trade
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to safe work practices and applicable codes
