We have to show you the primary suite at 3368 Dorado Beach!

We’ve shared some of our favorite spaces throughout this home, but the primary bedroom, bathroom, and closet deserve a closer look. Sometimes you just need to take a drive through a neighborhood to see what makes it special.

That’s exactly how we feel about Brookhaven in Farmers Branch. The mature trees, established homes, and golf-course surroundings give this neighborhood so much personality.

It’s a little different from what you might picture when you think about living near Dallas. We love getting out and showing you these pockets of DFW that deserve a closer look.

Construction is moving along at one of our featured listings, 5035 Mill Creek!

This 5,300+ square-foot custom home by Watermark Properties is making great progress, and these aerial views show the work happening around the property. The stonework, wood accents, roofing, and windows are in place, with the front walkway and landscaping still underway.

We love seeing how the home’s design works with the established trees and surrounding neighborhood. Located in Dallas’s Inwood Estates near Jesuit, we’ve been excited to share this property throughout the building process.

One more look back at the open house at 3368 Dorado Beach.

Yesterday we shared the people and energy that made our open house such a good night. Today we wanted to give the house a little more attention, because it deserves it.

Throughout the house, you’ll find the kind of details that are easy to appreciate in photos but even better in person: vaulted ceilings, natural woodwork, hardwood floors, designer lighting, walnut cabinetry, marble surfaces, a custom bar, and two fireplaces. This is what “Live Local” looks like to us.

A beautiful house, doors wide open, a kitchen full of conversations, people meeting each other for the first time, familiar faces catching up, kids heading straight for the backyard, and everyone taking a few minutes to slow down and enjoy the evening.

Our open house at 3368 Dorado Beach was a good one.
We hosted the event inside this Thomas Cusick Custom Homes | Dallas Home Builder Signature Series residence in Farmers Branch Brookhaven Country Club , and the home couldn’t have been a better setting. At 4,656 square feet, there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, but most people still ended up gathering around the kitchen, living areas, and outdoor space overlooking the golf course.

And we can’t blame them.

The kitchen has rich walnut cabinetry, marble countertops, professional-grade appliances, a custom bar, and an illuminated Cristallo w**e display. Open the home toward the back and the setting changes completely, with a covered outdoor living area, fireplace, built-in grill, and the golf course just beyond the yard.

Good food, cold drinks, a great house, and even better people.
