Not all roof leaks start with a big storm. Most come from small issues that build up over time. Here’s why these 5 common problems lead to leaks:

1️⃣ Roof penetrations – Areas around chimneys and vents have seals that can crack or wear out, letting water seep in.
2️⃣ Improper installation – If your roof wasn’t installed correctly, it creates weak spots where water can easily get underneath.
3️⃣ Flashing damage – Flashing is designed to direct water away; when it’s damaged or loose, water goes exactly where it shouldn’t.
