What is the most rewarding part of your role? I value the friendships that I have made over the years with our clients. When all the finish materials start going in and our clients can really see the vision come to life, it’s the expression of joy that gets me every time!
What was your very first job, and what did it teach you? Going way back to the beginning of time it was doing chores around the house. My mom always said if you work hard and take care of your responsibilities without being told to, good things will come your way. To her, those rewards came in time together spent shopping for lots of clothes, furniture, new bedding, fabric to sew new curtains or pillows, painting my room a different color over and over again, and going to garage sales to find new accessories even before that was “a thing”. I am sure those lessons have a lot to do with the career I have today.
My first real paying job besides babysitting gigs was at Taco Time. Nothing teaches you quicker about customer service and how to count change than the fast-food industry.
If you could master any skill overnight, what would it be? A piping bag. I would love to be able to create confectionary art on cakes and cookies. My waistline just doesn’t handle all the practicing required!
What does your ideal day off look like? Early mornings with pot of coffee and a book followed up by a day of baking, thrift store shopping, or crafting.

If you could have any fictional character as a best friend, who would it be? Idgie Threadgoode
What is the best place you have ever traveled? Sanibel and Captiva Islands in SW Florida and wish I could stay there forever….Life Goals.
