Nine months into construction, Highland Lakeview Apartments continues to take shape as progress moves steadily forward — building for living.

Interior progress continues floor by floor, with painting beginning soon on the 3rd floor, drywall underway on the 2nd floor, and MEP rough-ins progressing on the 1st floor. On the exterior, brick veneer installation is nearing the halfway point, siding installation has begun, and residential patio decking is now complete.

We’re also preparing for the next phase of site work beginning in early June as this project moves another step closer to completion.

We appreciate the update from Breckenridge Public Schools and the strong collaboration from everyone involved in the design development process. This milestone reflects a true team effort between the district, design partners, and project team.

We’re excited to see the project continue to take shape as we move closer to construction. With utility work anticipated to begin in July and foundation work for the new elementary this fall, the next phase is quickly approaching. Through intentional phasing and site logistics planning, our team is focused on supporting students, staff, and the day-to-day operations of the school during construction.

🏗️ Building Project Update – Exciting Progress Ahead!

We’re excited to share that over the past few months, our team has been working closely with architects and engineers to finalize the design development for our building project—and we’re nearing the finish line!

The next step is submitting our plans to the State of Minnesota for required permit approvals. While the exact timeline for approval is not set, this is an important milestone as we move closer to construction.

We hope to begin utility work at the high school site in July, followed by foundation work for the new elementary wing early this fall.

Our construction manager is also developing detailed phasing plans to guide the work, and we look forward to sharing those with you soon.
