Volunteer Pools is hiring a full time customer service representative.
32-48 hours a week. Monday through Saturday, 9-5:30 dst and 9-5:00 std. Saturdays are mandatory but not necessarily every Saturday throughout the year.
Based on store volume, schedule will vary.
Pay depends on experience.
Retail experience and/or business office experience preferred.
The right applicant will be trained all things pools but should be able to thrive in a fast pace environment and be open to learning new things.
For the right candidate who makes this job a priority and is dedicated to the business, this position could open up to become a salary position that would include higher pay, paid time off, paid holidays and limited work week hours in the winter time. 9 months full time (often 6 days a week), 3 months part time (3 days a week).

Tasks include:
-Greeting customers as they walk into the store

-Running water test and assisting with pool/spa balancing needs and water quality troubleshooting

-Answering phones

-Creating work orders for services

-Ringing up customers through a pos system

-Billing out work orders through a pos system

-taking payments from customers on account for billed services

-Quoting/selling services, equipment and products

-Recovering store inventory on shelving with products and pricing

-Following Protocols and procedures established by the company

-cCompleting daily weekly and monthly task checklists (store cleaning, maintaining work order boards, etc….)

VOLUNTEER POOLS AND SPAS IS NOW HIRING!

Customer Service/Counter associate

Minimum 40 hours a week, 9-5:30

Pay depends on experience.
Hourly and salary packages available.
Salary can vary from 22k -32k yearly with paid vacations after 3 months and paid holidays. Saturdays are mandatory.

Applicants will be expected to lift up to 50 lbs, multi-task and work at a fast pace.
General computer knowledge of windows based systems is a must, moderate proficiency
In word and excel is preferred.
General knowledge of swimming pools is preferred but not required.
Preferred applicants will also have sales/retail or business office experience.

Duties include:
Running water tests for customers
Learning proper water care and chemical maintenance
Schedule work orders
Ringing up customers through point of sale for product purchases
Billing out work orders
Taking customer calls and concerns and finding solutions for their issues
Assist with loading up customer purchases

Store hours are Monday through Saturday 9-5:30, schedules may vary.
