This is a project I took on for a couple of very special people. They were absolutely fantastic. This is what Mary Frances had to say: After a two-year search, Art and I finally found Uncle Fix'it who said he liked to build what others couldn't. Here is Art on the left standing with Greg Summers on our new uniquely designed dock that is anchored to a solid limestone lake bottom. Greg (Uncle Fix'it) is a quality craftsman with a wealth of experience and integrity.

My first big project of the year 2020. It really turned out great. These clients were great.

This project had several stages.:
Deconstruction.
Add extended deck: (2x6 Deck boards)
Built a railing system using black metal spindles.
Add Hip Roof (using Douglas fir rafters w/eastern white pine decking. Provides very custom cathedral ceiling.
Replaced a triple set of windows with a triple set of doors.
Framed in for a gas fireplace that we installed airstone on the outside. Shiplap in the recessed television area with a double set of doors.
Screened it all in and added a ceiling fan with lighting.

I finished this project a few weeks ago. I removed half of the previous deck and constructed this 300 sf sun deck while Water Proofing the under side for a screen room.

These clients are the best. They ask me to provide impossible problems knowing I will always come though for them. They only want to provide a place for their family to enjoy.
