The roof over the Red Rock Center for the Arts has been doing its job for decades. It is ready for the next chapter.
The work ahead is specific: new shingles, measures to prevent ice damming, targeted roofing repairs, and a new gutter system to carry water away from the building instead of into it. The point of all of it is to keep water out of the plaster, the woodwork, the gallery walls, and the classrooms below.
Martin County Commissioners have committed $30,000 toward this project, and that commitment is already made for this building. Our part is to raise $30,000 through Give to the Max Day, so the two together cover $60,000 of a job that runs about $77,000.
There is also a little extra on the table this year. Give to the Max has a prize pool of more than $100,000, with nearly 150 chances to win during the campaign. Every gift made during Give to the Max is an entry, and if your gift is drawn, the prize money comes to us, on top of what you gave.
Give to the Max Day is November 19, 2026. Early giving opens November 1.

Over the next few weeks we will show you what the work includes and who uses the building it protects.
