So, imagine my surprise yesterday when the comment was made to me...."I like your sign"..... what sign? Apparently these went up on the Plaza sign yesterday after I arrived at work. Kuddos to Primo Signs and the property management. Now if I could just get my Frontier system to work reliably.

Monday June 15th. was the 1 yr anniversary of the Father's Day flooding. One year later I am transitioning from a construction zone to a work zone. I plan to start actually working on gear again next week. The new shop is almost complete, but it will be a work in progress for a bit. The property management has informed me they will be adding railing at the sidewalk, and signage will be going up. These are great people.
Two and a half months of packing, moving, building and all the other fun stuff is past. The skinned shins, blisters, cuts, scrapes are all nearly healed. I have to thank my pal Carson for helping me get a divider wall up. Caleb and Josh from Zona Hester for spending a rainy nasty day of helping me move the counters, other big items, and about 50 boxes of various sizes and weight., and Leon Brown for helping me move a bunch of amps. Thanks guys.
This has been an overdue, but extremely necessary delay in work. Going forward, when I put in 10-12 hr days, it will be spent working not shoveling snow, Ice or clearing water and mud.
I have a lot of catching up to do, but we have turned the corner.

June 1st. That was the day I had planned to have the new shop up and running. Apparently I had unrealistic expectations. There are still about 30+ boxes of parts, tools, fixtures, and supplies to find unpack clean and organize. This was a disappointing development to me, because I had a timeline trifecta planned.
1. June 1st 2026 New shop opens
2. June 1st, 1993 GTRCPR opens...... 33yrs.
3. June 1st, 1976 Business license goes into effect...... 50yrs.
So, anyway. I did not make my timeline, it will have to be a little longer. Maybe I can work this into another co-inkidink somehow. In the mean time here are some pics of what is going on. Oh, and buy the way the business license and shop openings were purely coincidental.

Just a quick post to thank everyone who has checked in on me the last two days. Yes, thankfully I dodged another bullet yesterday when the area of the old shop was hit again by heavy rains. Less than a year since the last round. I knew it was going to happen again. It was just a matter of when and if I would have found a new location before it hit the fan again. Other than a bit of PTSD I was fine. I do feel for the old friends in the area.

A customer stopped by as I was packing up the shop, wanted to take a few phots and mentioned I should be documenting it. When he left I picked up the go pro. This is the result over a few days.

So, in the middle of this move I was reminded this morning of all the little aggravations that I dealt with here on a daily basis. Almost every day I had to pick up trash left behind from individuals sitting on the step under the awning waiting for the busses. Today's gift was a cup of coffee in the mail box. So, if you are driving down E. Park Ave. after this Friday. You will most likely see trash on the sidewalk, and drink cups on the window sills. Oh, and the mail box will be gone.

It was mentioned to me by my new landlord that I should post an update. Since I am not prone to social media it had not crossed my mind in the flurry of activity going on. This should also kill the rumor that I am partnering with someone else. So here we go. The build in of the new shop is going well. I will be completely out of the old location by the 1st. Here are a few pics.
