As we start to settle into the New Year, I wanted to share a small but helpful change you’ll notice soon.

To stay even more focused on delivering quality work during projects and cut down on juggling calls mid-job, I’ve added a professional answering service / virtual receptionist team. They’ll handle incoming calls with the same care and friendliness you’d expect from me. They can schedule appointments, answer quick questions, or pass along detailed messages so I can get back to you fast.

The last month has felt like I’ve been going nonstop! Blessed with all the work I’ve done and wish I had more pictures to share with everyone, but here’s what I have so far: Service Upgrade, Cracked outlet face (nothing to do with the issue, but can be and eventually would’ve been), the issue (bad splice causing wires to heat up over time and eventually failing), checking for a tripped breaker when all the breakers appear to be in the ‘On’ position (sometimes when a breaker trips, they don’t appear to go into the ‘Trip’ position which is the middle. Giving a light tap can help identify those that may be tripped but appearing to be ’On’)

Another service upgrade to 200 Amp!

In the process, I was cleaning up the conduit under the meter enclosure trying to get in the the position I wanted. After I was done, when I stood up, I clearly wasn’t far enough away from the corner of the enclosure and bumped the ole noggin. Use this as a friendly reminder to slow down just a little bit 😂🤦🏾‍♂️. (I still think I should’ve just left it or glued it shut at home).

‼️Just wanted to share something with everyone that I found recently that I feel some of you would like to know about: here’s a quick summary‼️

Ting is a device that plugs into any outlet in your home and takes constant electrical readings, checking for arcing throughout the electrical system and can even help point you to the issue and the circuit that is the problem! Arcing was the heat source in over 63% of home fires that involved an electrical failure or malfunction between 2015 and 2019, according to the NFPA. In my opinion, having an extra set of eyes that can see beyond the walls can be very useful and potentially life saving! Some insurance companies do offer it, so check on the site for more in depth information about Ting!

A little “Emergency” work… The Emergency happened a little over 2 months ago when the first big storm hit the Pleasant Valley area 😅.. I’m trying to give the benefit of doubt to the power company because of it being hectic with multiple storms back to back like that, BUT we finally got it fixed up! (Minus fixing some roofing around the Service Mast, that’s not my portion) 😎⚡️💡
